We analyse the organisation’s culture and business goals and discuss the critical business issues this role will address as well as the essential requirements of the position. We develop assignment objectives and ideal candidate profiles based on consultation with clients built around competency-based frameworks and behavioural characteristics.
We establish project teams comprising experienced consultants and research associates to ensure the effectiveness of multi-country and regional search assignments. Candidates are sourced from the consultants own professional networks and relationships, systematic research and our global database.
Discretely we reach out to candidates and evaluate their appropriateness for the opportunity. Given the background and seniority of our consultants most candidates appreciate the approach and engage in a fruitful discussion. The quality of this dialogue between consultants and candidates greatly enhances the prospect of attracting the best talent to our client organisations.
Using competency-based interviewing models to assess candidate behavioural characteristics we can assess their ability to perform in the role and adapt to the company and its culture. Further validation of the assessment by the consultant of the candidate is obtained through extensive formal and informal reference checking.
Our consultants invest in the relationship with candidates through every step of the search process and monitor and address concerns about the job or other aspects as they arise, significantly reducing barriers to closure of a search at the final stage.
